The modern Didymos Metro design goes country and blends gold coloured and natural linen yarns to create a pure, beautifully shimmering linen wrap. Linen is one of the oldest textiles and has not lost none of its appeal. It has a natural sheen and there is something timeless and enticing about linen and the way it can be used to enhance any cloth and weave.
Linen is versatile. By nature it is anti-static, dirt-resistant and anti-bacterial. It is also tear-proof and drapes well. Highly absorbent and temperature regulating, linen fabric is one of the most breathable fabrics and the perfect choice for babywearing throughout the year. Linen may feel a bit stiff initially but it becomes so soft and supple through washing and wear.
Metro Harvest Lino is made from 100% linen in natural and yellow. With its perfect diagonal stretch it is mouldable and allows for precise and comfortable tying of front, hip and back carries. The wraps have a width of 65 cm and as they are pre-washed they will not shrink. Linen can be cultivated and processed into textile without chemicals and so is today most valued for being an ultimate sustainable, biodegradable product.
