Loved by children and often used as a pattern for quilts and other textiles, the dynamic pinwheel design is also a great pattern for wraps, used here in the colourful Zephyr weave. This beautiful colour palette combines deep blue cotton with shimmering silk in cyclamen, teal and turquoise!

The fabric is lightweight and smooth with the perfect amount of stretch to allow for comfortable babywearing. It has a lovely drape, moulding to the wearer and baby with optimal comfort while perfectly supporting baby. Silk is one of the strongest natural fibres, and is thus very supportive and durable. Moisture and temperature regulating, silk blends are ideal to wear year round.

PLEASE NOTE: Make sure to always follow the care instructions to keep your silk blend wraps in perfect condition.

Zephyr Silk would be perfect with a small baby. It is thin, easy to wrap with, and soft after an initial wash with little break in required. I think my favorite part is the grip from the pinwheels on the Zephyr pattern. Zephyr Silk reminds me very much of a wrap I loved with my newborn - Millefiori Monochrome. Both are thin tussah wraps but the Mille is a smooth weave with very little difference in texture between those sweet little flowers and the rest of the wrap. Zephyr has a ton more texture and grip on the pinwheel portion of the wrap. I do appreciate the grip in Zephyr Silk as sometimes I find silk wraps to have a slippery quality. A little grip can help passes lock and stay in place.

Now, in terms of looks, Zephyr Silk is a stunner. For this wrap, Didymos used cyclamen, teal and turquoise silk threads against a deep blue cotton background. The shimmering nature of Zephyr comes from these silk threads. They glow and transform with movement and changes in light. This is definitely a wrap for lovers of color and shimmer.

Holy wow I love this wrap. I've loved it from the second I first saw a photo, but I held off on purchasing because I was afraid it wouldn't be as wonderful to wrap with as it looks. Thank goodness, I had nothing to be afraid of. This wrap has a great balance of grip and glide, the colors literally shimmer in the sunlight, and I've never used a wrap that is so thin and light. Hands down my most treasured wrap in my (rather large) stash!
