Pure Linen – a new line of woven baby slings!

A new collection by DIDYMOS!  Pure 100% Linen!  Linen is one of the oldest textiles and over the years, it has not lost its appeal and is appreciated by many from clothing to household fabrics and babywearing! Linen can be cultivated and processed into a textile without chemicals and therefore is valued for being an ultimate sustainable, bio-degradable product.

Linen is functional and versatile: By nature anti-static, dirt-resistant and antibacterial, it is also tear-proof, durable and drapes well. Linen is one of the most breathable fabrics. Highly absorbent and a good conductor of heat, linen fabric feels cool to the touch. Thanks to these cooling properties, pure linen is the perfect choice for babywearing when temperatures rise.

Linen may feel a bit stiff initially but it becomes so soft and wonderfully supple through washing and wear.

Crepelino Collection

As part of the new Pure Linen line, Didymos has launched their Crepelino collection.  The fabric in this collection is a linen crêpe that features  a crisp, slightly crimped appearance, appreciated for its beautiful look and texture that adds a subtle grip to the fabric.  With the fabric’s perfect diagonal stretch it is moldable and allows for precise and comfortable tying of front, hip and back carries.  The wraps have a width of 65 cm and as they are pre-washed they willl not shrink.

The Crepelino collection is offered both woven wraps and ring slings in a variety of colours.  Rosso (natural & red linen – 220 g/m²), Azur (natural & light blue linen – 220 g/m²), Jade (natural &  jade linen – 220 g/m²), Stone (natural &  anthracite linen – 220 g/m²) and Natural (natural linen 230 g/m²)

DIDYMOS DidySlings (Ring Slings) are…

 Made from Didymos woven fabric purposefully woven on special looms for the sole purpose of babywearing.

 Are made from organic cotton (and other plant materials such as linen and hemp) and/or ethically sourced animal fibres.

 Woven with a diagonal stretch that creates an elasticity in the fabric allowing for the fabric to easily mould to the wearer and baby providing optimal comfort and support.

 Easy-to-use baby, convenient baby carrier that is fully adjustable and suitable for newborns to toddler and perfect for sharing! 

 The ease of being able to pop baby in and out of the carrier quickly makes this a very popular method of carrying your baby!  It is an excellent carrier for newborns and quick “ups & downs” with toddlers.

 DIDYMOS woven wrap slings offer a custom fit for every person regardless of their shape and size. They can be used right from the newborn baby stage all the way up to preschool age.
